Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FreeSSL at ssl.menporulcs.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
FreeSSL provides free SSL/TLS certificate generation using the Let's Encrypt Certificate Authority, along with a collection of web security utility tools including SSL checking, DNS lookup, WHOIS lookup, IP geolocation, HTTP header analysis, CSR generation, and password generation.
Certificates are issued under the terms of the Let's Encrypt Subscriber Agreement. You must accept that agreement to obtain a certificate.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Obtain certificates for domains you do not own or control
- Attempt to overwhelm, circumvent, or abuse the Let's Encrypt rate limits
- Use the lookup tools to conduct unauthorized network scanning or reconnaissance
- Attempt SSRF, DNS rebinding, or other attacks against our infrastructure
- Automate bulk certificate requests without prior written consent
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable law
4. Certificate Validity and Renewal
Certificates issued via Let's Encrypt are valid for 90 days. It is your responsibility to renew certificates before they expire. The Service does not automatically renew certificates unless an automated renewal feature is explicitly offered.
5. Privacy and Data
Our collection and use of your personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Your private keys are not stored by us. If you use the CSR Generator or Password Generator tools, all cryptographic operations occur in your browser and no secrets are transmitted to our servers.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CERTIFICATES WILL BE ISSUED IN ALL CASES. LET'S ENCRYPT IMPOSES RATE LIMITS AND POLICY RESTRICTIONS THAT MAY AFFECT CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CERTIFICATE EXPIRY, ISSUANCE FAILURES, OR DOMAIN VERIFICATION FAILURES.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on Let's Encrypt, Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS, RDAP registries, and IP geolocation data providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
